Become a Junior Hunger Hero!
Junior Hunger Heroes helps kids learn, grow and give back. Young heroes complete simple at-home missions each month that teach them about hunger, healthy food, kindness and helping others. They’ll get fun badges to collect, messages from our mascots and activities that inspire them to make a real impact.

Learning Missions
Junior Hunger Heroes don’t just learn about hunger. They help end it. Kids learn how their actions:
- Support kids who rely on school meals
- Help feed families during emergencies
- Make sure neighbors have access to healthy foods
- Grow empathy, leadership and community awareness
Junior Hunger Hero Ambassadors
A leadership track for 13 to 18-year-olds ready to take their impact to the next level. Junior Hunger Hero Ambassadors learn to:
- Lead food drives
- Create community projects
- Organize school-wide campaigns
- Earn service hours
- Mentor younger Junior Hunger Heroes
- Build confidence and leadership skills

How to Join

Sign Up Online
Parents register their child using our quick sign-up form.
Once registered, you will receive, in the mail, a hero passport to track your monthly missions all year long, cape and a welcome letter from Peanut Butter Paul and Jessica Jelly.

Complete Monthly Missions
Missions are sent by email. Everything can be done at home.

Earn Badges and Share Wins
Heroes send in photos, drawings, or check-ins to earn that month’s badge.
